In Our Lady of Mercy N.S., we have a very dedicated, hardworking, energetic staff who are committed to the welfare and education of our pupils. The staff provide a broad range of learning experiences in a safe, supportive and caring environment. We also offer many extra-curricular activities that are greatly enjoyed by our pupils. As a team, we work hard to achieve the best possible outcomes for all pupils so they can reach their full potential.

Our Lady of Mercy N.S. Parents' Association
At Our Lady of Mercy N.S., we are very proud to have a vibrant Parents’ Association who work closely with us to ensure the best opportunities for all children in our school.
Over the years the Parents Association has made a significant contribution to our school, with regular input into school policy documents and the promotion of the school in the wider community. They regularly organise events to raise extra funds for additional school activities. Their annual fundraisers include a Tractor Run, clothes collection and Sponsored Walk. All funds raised go towards funding extra activities and resources that all pupils benefit from. In 2023, our Parents’ Association funded two full sets of G.A.A. jerseys to the school along with a set of athletics singlets.
Meetings are held once a month in the school and all Parents/Guardians are welcome to attend.
The Aims of the Parents’ Association are:-
1. To make parents aware of their role, rights and duties in regard to the school.
2. To assist parents to acquire the skills which this role demands, by way of discussions, talks, etc.
3. To promote the development of the educational services within the school.
The A.G.M. of the Parents’ Association is held in October each year.
